WII Game Review - DECA Sports 3

About the Game
Fans of the DECA SPORTS franchise will have a new sequel to liven up chilly days this Fall with DECA SPORTS 3. The game, published by Hudson Entertainment, the North and South American subsidiary of HUDSON SOFT, has just gone gold and will be available exclusively for Wii on October 26 for $29.99. DECA SPORTS 3 will also feature support for the Wii MotionPlus accessory for the first time in ten exciting new sporting events.

"DECA SPORTS 3 is a great way for families to spend time together in one wholesome, budget-conscious package," said Dai Kudo, Director of Consumer Products at Hudson Entertainment. "The same familiar, easy-to-use controls are back, allowing gamers of all ages to enjoy ten complete new sporting events, along with the addition of Wii MotionPlus."
DECA SPORTS 3 marks the return of the best-selling and award-winning DECA SPORTS series to Wii. Players will compete in springboard diving, volleyball, giant slalom, racquetball, air racing, kayak slalom, lacrosse, log cutting, halfpipe and fencing. Simple controls allow families and friends to quickly pick up and play together with up to four players, while all-new advanced controls allow expert users to take advantage of Wii MotionPlus. Customizable teams are back with the Team Editor, which allows players to pick the name, colors, emblem, style and attributes of their teams. Players can also hop into the action online and have fun against DECAthletes from all over their region using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for volleyball, lacrosse, racquetball and fencing.

My Take on the GameMy eldest daughter is all about sports and she tends to excel in them as well. Thus, she was very excited to try out the new DECA Sports game that was coming out for the WII. This game is full of great sports action. What I liked most is that the game is not focusing on only one sport, but instead you have your choice as you have in past DECA Sports versions. Graphics and action are superb and this game will truly keep you moving, fit and active! Some of the games even have the option for online play which is a great addition to this game (in my opinion). So check out DECA Sports 3 and try your hand at the following sports:

  • Springboard Diving
  • Volleyball (w/online play)
  • Giant Slalom
  • Racquetball (w.online play)
  • Air Racing
  • Kayak Slalom
  • Lacrosse (w/online play)
  • Log Cutting
  • Halfpipe
  • Fencing (w/online play)
If this game sounds like one that you would like to have in your own collection, you can pre-order it on Amazon!
