About the Product
All the world's a stage—and with this extraordinary book-plus kit, you can dramatize the most memorable scenes in all of theatre. Contents include:
  • Sixty finger-puppet cards featuring Shakespeare's most famous characters, including Hamlet, Lady Macbeth, King Lear, Othello, Shylock, and Falstaff
  • Twelve stand-up sets of castles, forests, balconies, and battlefields
  • A 96-page "folio" of classic scenes—from Hamlet's "To Be or Not to Be" soliloquy to Romeo and Juliet's classic balcony serenade

Created by Michael Rogalski, the book includes 60 finger puppet cards featuring Shakespeare’s most famous characters. Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, Lady Macbeth… even the ghost of Hamlet’s father is included!

Inside the book, you’ll also discover twelve stand-up sets, providing proper backdrops for every Shakespearean play, as well as a 96-page folio that includes excerpts from classic scenes. You’ll never miss a line from Hamlet’s “To Be Or Not To Be” soliloquy ever again.

They are also running a Masterpuppet Theatre DIY Shakespeare Contest, encouraging our advance readers to create their own mini-Shakespeare production. We’ve got some great prizes lined up, including a Flip Cam and VISA gift cards. You can read all about that here. [http://bit.ly/cvsa8x

Once you've finished staging the Bard's entire canon, you can mix and match masterpuppets to produce your own Shakespearean mash-ups. Perhaps your Romeo will fall in love with Lady Macbeth!

My Take on the Product
As a past theatre major in college and a theater lover all-around, I loved this product! What I loved most about it was the fact that you are able to introduce anyone to great plays and have fun while doing it. I also loved the fact that there are finger puppets for so many plays and the folio itself contains so many scenes, you are guaranteed for many hours of family fun (and if you have a video camera - great shots for youtube!). As a father of two girls I tried this out with my own daughters and they got a kick out of it. While they also probably thought that Dad was being a bit wacky, they did laugh and listen which are both great signs!

So if you are trying to introduce your family to the Bard and his plays, what better way than through the use of puppets. You will have a blast!

If you would like to find this for yourself, you can find it over at Amazon!
